I use no petroleum base finish in food products,
FYI please look at the reviews all of them 5 star this post is new because after listed for 10 years. sales growing I suddenly was deleted /removed for terms of service . I explained the Tung oil use benefits of using it over other Petroleum finishes I have used this brand finish for 14 years I use the all natural paints they use made from natural pigments.
I am a American first store It is only beneficial to use this finish since your products will last years with less issues from other finishes. Remember I have enough collage sciences to get a BA in science since I was a charge nurse

All are about 2 inches round at center and narrow down at the ends to about 1 inch .
They are all turned at High speeds by hand on a lathe why we have a 2 " + or - is blanks come in 15,24,31 inches with a loss of inch on each side
after they are turned I apply 4 coats of 100% Tung oil with 100% pure citrus solvent this gives the wood a Natural semi water proofing after curing I then apply a vegan top coat wax

Special Note: Tung oil is a natural oil that soaks deep into the wood first coat is 75% citrus solvent 25% tung oil the oil goes into the wood cells and dries out because of the all natural citrus solvent ( made from orange rinds also 100% natural ) then a 50/50 mix is applied with same drying inside cells leaving microscopic crystals inside the cells making them semi water proof .. unlike other cheaper finishes that when dry are gone leaving no protection to the woods. So this is why my rolling pins cost more , and are of superior quality
