16-18 inches x 3 inches a a full limb is cut in 1/2 flattened on the back side to fit pretty flat against the wall. USA pony shoe nails are installed into a semi drilled hole with ca glue and hammered in . all screws for the mounting in sheetrock or wood are included I recommend at least one hole into a stud. all is needed is a #2 screw driver a drill with 1/8" bit pre drill any stud or the rock mounting cleats
